John 14:1-3 Jessie Mae Newson Peters passed away on Febuary 6, 2019, at her residence in Angie, Louisiana, at the age of 91. She was born in Columbia, Mississippi on February 14, 1927.

She leaves to cherish her memories and honor her legacy three sons, Elder Robert Wayne (Annie Ruth) Peters, Willie B. (Kathy) Peters, Jr., and Amos (Odessa) Peters, all of Angie, LA; one daughter, Annie Pearl (Eugene) Allen, II of Angie, LA. ; one brother Isadore Newson of Columbia, MS; one sister-in-law Margie Newson of Georgia; a grandson she raised as her own, Drice (Ameldia) Peters of Bogalusa LA; extended family; John and Lela Mae Newson and John and Clottell Jackson; a devoted niece Eddie Mae Ratliff of Angie, LA. ; special friends, Earnestine Peters of Angie, LA.

and Ossilean Moses of Varnado, LA. ; and her caregiver; Inez Peters of Angie, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev.

Jesse Isadore (Lillie McFarland) Newson; eight siblings; and one granddaughter Samatha Peters. The visitation will be 2:00PM-5:00PM Friday, February 15, 2019 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home-Bogalusa, LA. The wake will be 7:00PM-9:00PM Friday, February 15, 2019 at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church- Angie, LA.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday, February 15, 2019 at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church. Interment in Harry Cemetery in Angie, LA. Crain and Sons Funeral Home-Bogalusa in charge of arrangements.
