Obituary of Jessie Gray Sr Jessie Donald Gray, Sr., 80, widower of Willie Jane Lambert Gray, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Born on September 21, 1937, in Darlington, he was the son of the late Jessie L. Gray and the late Ruby Irene Coker Moore Gray. Mr. Gray was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a US Army Veteran.

He retired from International Paper Company after more than 40 years of service and enjoyed playing gospel music and spending time with his family. Survivors include four children, Joey M. Gray (Etta) of Georgetown, Julie D. Pope (Dean) of Andrews, Jamie K. Gray (Carolyn) of Georgetown and Jennifer G. Stewart (Chaine) of Georgetown; 15 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Jessie Gray, II; two grandsons, Travis Pope and James “Jimmy” W. Gray; one sister, Irene G. Bone; and two half-brothers, Reese Moore and Hubert Moore.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Chris Browder officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.
