Obituary of Elizabeth Elliott Elizabeth Cribb Elliott, 74, widow of Neal Elliott, Sr., passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Born on July 31, 1944, in Pleasant Hill, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Beauford Cribb, Sr. and the late Edna Port Cribb. Mrs. Elliott was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was a diehard GAMECOCK fan.

Affectionally known as Nanny, she was full of life and spunk, and along with her sense of humor and her contagious smile, she could light up a room. Mrs. Elliott had a great love for her family and enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other children. She was considered the matriarch of Gibson Street.

Along with her love for her family, Mrs. Elliott enjoyed the Christmas season and LOVED Conway Twitty. Survivors include four children, Debbie Marlowe (Don), Lisa Barton (Ray), Neal Elliott, Jr. (Monica) and Stacie Elliott all of Georgetown; seven grandchildren, Don Allen Marlow, Jr. (Nacole), Patrick Marlowe, Heather Moree (Patrick), Nicholas Gailey, Nicholas Barton, Courtney Elliott and Cory Elliott all of Georgetown; four great grandchildren, Trace Marlowe, Kaidence Moree, Landen Moree and Ella Kate Johnson all of Georgetown; three sisters, Edna Yarborough of Murrells Inlet, Wanda Bass of Murrells Inlet and Bobbie Cusack (David) of Georgetown; one brother, Marvin B. Cribb, Jr. (Christine) of Georgetown; numerous nieces and nephews; special Nanny Liz to Chandler Wilder, Cody Wilder, Harper Reece, Dawsyn Gray and many others. She was preceded in death by a sister, Flora Mae Clayton; and three brothers in law, Larry Yarborough, David Bass and Bobby Clayton.

Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM Monday, September 3, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
