Obituary of Liles Miller Liles Felder “Cuda” Miller, 88, beloved husband of Mary Kate Goodwin Miller, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Veterans’ Victory House in Walterboro. Born on July 29, 1930, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Sherwood Liles Miller and the late Mary Elizabeth Inabinet Miller. Mr. Miller was a member of First Baptist Church, attended Victory Christian Fellowship with his family and was a United States Marine having served in the Korean Conflict.

As a blacksmith, Mr. Miller enjoyed working with wrought iron. He was an avid reader and gardener and enjoyed singing. Mr. Miller had a great love for his family, especially his beloved wife of 63 years, but most of all his love for Jesus Christ was unending.

Survivors include the love of his life, Mary Kate Goodwin Miller of Andrews; four children, Kathy L. Carver (James) of Virginia Beach, VA, Mark F. Miller (Suzy) of Andrews, Phoebe D. Miller of International and Brenda M. Presley (Murray) of Georgetown; ten grandchildren, Nicole Sprake (Bill), Bryce Benjamin (Wendy), Eric Benjamin (Sara), Morgan Presley, Jordan Presley, Luke Presley, Lauren Miller, Shannon Miller, Allison Miller and Kaitlyn Miller; nine great grandchildren, Larkyn Sprake, Erynn Sprake, Aiden Sprake, Jaxon Sprake, Tristian Benjamin, Brianna Benjamin, Riley Benjamin, Joel Benjamin and Lyla Benjamin; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Porter of Andrews and Rebecca Duncan Hooper (Marty) of Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ellen L. Layton; and one brother, Sherwood M. Miller. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Victory Christian Fellowship, 58 Academy Ave.

Georgetown, SC 29440, with Rev. Rod Reid officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM Sunday at the church.
