Obituary of Kennard Schwamb Kennard Y. Schwamb, Sr passed away at his residence in South Carolina on Thursday, October 18, 2019. Born in the Bronx, NY on June 15, 1934 to parents Gigi and Winifred Schwamb, He was 84. Kennard and Audrey were both graduates of Wallkill High School, Ken served in the Korean War with the United States Army, and graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy.

Kennard and his wife Audrey O’Connor Schwamb proudly served their customers at the Cowhig Pharmacy in Red Hook for over 30 years. Kennard Sr is survived by his three children, Kennard Y. Schwamb, Jr (Dawn) of Burlington, Kentucky; Karen Clarke of Springfield, Colorado and Kim Burhans (Bill) at 27 Grandmour Drive, Red Hook, NY 12571. Also surviving him are his five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
