Jesus Castaneda, age 87 of Chicago, IL passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018. He is survived by 10 children: late Rosendo, Jose, Marta, Maria, Efrain, Juve, Jesus, Jesse, Maricela, late Alma and Jorge; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Elvira Sandoval.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1445 Hoffman Street, Hammond, IN (date and time pending) with Rev. Erlin Y. Garcia officiating. Burial will take place in Tlaltenango, Zacatecas, Mexico.
