Lorraine A. Stasek (nee Misiora), age 85 of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. She is survived by 4 children: Diane (Eric) Stirratt, Charles Stasek, Jr., John Charles Stasek and Ruthanne (Rick) Apuzzo; 6 grandchildren: Tracy, Tammy and Amanda Stirratt, Sarah and Nick Stasek and Ricky Apuzzo; great grandchildren: Justin and ; brother, John Misiora; sister, Katherine; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stasek in 1993; grandson, Terry Stirratt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June13, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Stanislaus Church, 808 West 151st Street, East Chicago, IN with Msgr. Joseph Semancik officiating. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.

Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd. , East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Lorraine was a retired teacher in the East Chicago Parochial Schools, she also taught Sunday School and was a Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout leader and Girl Scout leader.
