Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, Luke Dunlap; her son, Richard Hal “Pete” Pippin; brothers, Lewis Pippin, J.E. Pippin; Henry Pippin and William Hal Pippin; sister, Maudie Massengale and step son, Jerry Dunlap. Survivors include daughter in law, Reba Pippin; step son, Darrel Wayne Dunlap; step daughters, Patsy Glascock and Joan Mathis; sister, Ruby Brisco; her grandchildren, Tammy Deisher and husband Robert; Terri Pledger and husband Sam; Ty Pippin; great grandchildren, Carter, Carson and Cayden Pledger; Addison and Anilyse Deisher, Cash Pippin and a host of other extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
