Jill M. Johnson, age 62, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, Michigan. Born on January 28, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of John Ellwood Sadowski and Norma Jean (Fetterman) Craddock. On June 26, 1987 she married Richard Johnson in Arlington, Texas.

Jill was employed by Safety-Kleen for over 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and playing with her grandson. Jill was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Gary and granddaughter, Lillie Mae Catalani.

She is survived by her sons, Kyle Johnson of South Rockwood and Eric Johnson of Newport; daughters, Jillian Johnson of Belleville and Kara (David) Catalani of Newport; grandson, Richard, brothers, Greg (Marie) Sadowski, John (Linda) Sadowski and Sean Craddock; sisters, Lynn Sadowski, Jann (John) Deehan, Colleen (Chris) Russo, Kelly Craddock and Dawn Freeman. Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 3:00 pm.
