Cheryl Icenogle, age 72, of New Boston, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan. Born on June 2, 1946 in Wayne, Michigan, she was the daughter of Ferdinand and Virginia (Britz) Giese. On June 24, 1994 she married Bruce in St. John’s Lutheran Church Waltz, MI.
She was employed with Farm Bureau Insurance Agency as a Secretary until retiring in 2001. Cheryl was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Waltz, MI. Cheryl cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She enjoyed camping, bowling, watching sporting events, games of chance and riding her golf cart around the neighborhood She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband Bruce Icenogle of New Boston; daughters Tracie (Brian) Coffee of New Boston and Tara (Kenneth) Egler of New Boston; mother, Virginia Giese; 4 grandchildren Joseph Coffee, Matthew Coffee, Cody Egler and Emily Egler and a great-grandchild Melanie Coffee; sisters Jorja Johnston of Millington, MI and Lisa (James) Hubert of New Boston. Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00 am. She will lie instate from 10:00 AM until time of service. Rev.
Kyle Jones will officiate the service. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Township, Michigan. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the St. John’s Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
