Obituary for Jimmie Otero Jr. 1930-2018 Jimmie Otero, Jr., age 88, was called to his heavenly home on July 17, 2018. If you ever “shook the hand of the man who shook the hand of a friend of Buffalo Bill Cody”, then you met Jimmie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie G. Otero.

They shared 43 years of marriage and they had 11 children. Jimmie was also preceded in death by his grandsons; James Michael Otero, Ryan Davenport, Levi Montoya and his brother, Odelio Otero. He is survived by his children; Rose Mary Montoya (Jerry), James Otero Jr., Susan Garcia (David), Steven Otero (Jeanette), Mona Liza Davenport, Renee Haynes (Michael), Matthew Otero (Sopheak), Theresa Weileman (Steve), Mark Otero (Adele), Leonard Otero (Cassandra), Abel Otero (Tara), and 66 loving grandchildren; his brother, Conrado Otero (Senieda), his sisters; Perla Martinez and Petrita Kramer.
