Jimmie Dale Paxton, 75 of Valliant, passed away September 21, 2018 at his home. He was born January 2, 1943 at Blanco, Oklahoma the son of Jonas Paxton and Marie Tadlock. Jimmie worked on Ammunition Production and retired from the Army Ammunition Plant in Savanna, Oklahoma.

He drove the charter busses for Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He was a member of Brushy Baptist Church and had lived at Valliant for the past 8 years. Jimmie is survived by his wife of eight years, Matilda Wade Paxton of Valliant; sons, Kevin Paxton of Ivanhoe, Texas, Dale Paxton of Blanco, Oklahoma, Jimmie DeWayne Paxton of Muskogee, Jerry Don Paxton of McAlester, Jimmie Don Paxton of McAlester, Diamond Noahubi of Idabel, Tim Noahubi of Calera; daughters, Nancy Paxton Garcia of Bonham, Texas, Keri Dawn Paxton of McAlester, Amy Davis of Sherman, Texas; brothers, Tom Leflore of McAlester, Joe Anderson of Blanco; sisters, Brenda Capehart of Kiowa, Alta Willie of Blanco; twenty grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jonas Paxton; mother, Marie Tadlock Anderson; brother, Kenneth Paxton; nephews, Danny Willie and Anthony Paxton; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Thomas, Glenda Loma and Mary Jane Battiest; brother-in-law, Cecil Wade; niece, Faye Willie; great niece, Chantel Willie. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Raymond Johnson officiating.

Interment is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at the Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at Blanco, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends for 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel Sunday, September 23, 2018.
