Jimmy Earnest Evans, born in Camden, Arkansas on December 6, 1941, passed from this life in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, February 23, 2019. He is Predeceased by his parents, C.E. and Catherine Evans; brothers, Walter, James, and Mike Evans; sister, Frances Karr. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Dianne Wade Evans; daughters, Heather Garringer (Jeffery), Aletha Doughty (Jerry); son, Darrius Evans; siblings, Ben Evans, Gary Evans (Lois) and Peggy Burnett; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; his faithful cat, Brendy; many nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Jimmy graduated from Camden High School and remained an avid supporter of the Camden Fairview Cardinals throughout his life. He worked in the Grocery business and retired as a produce manager. He was a member of Word Aflame Church, 7800 Interstate 30, in Little Rock.

A Celebration of Life will be at Word Aflame Church officiated by Pastor James Lumpkin at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 11:00-12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Smith-Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas.
