Decatur Funeral service for Jimmy Hill Jr., 89, will be Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Justin McAlpin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Hill Jr. died on Monday, January 21, 2019 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1929, in Illinois to Lloyd James Hill, Sr. and Alma Louise George Hill.

He was a Baptist and was employed by Monsanto prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Bradberry Hill, his parents, and three brothers. Survivors include: Two Sons: James Michael Hill, Decatur, AL and Jerome Hill, Redwood City, CA Pallbearers will be Clay Fowler, Randell Smith, Tim Barnette, Leroy Henderson, David Bentley, and Brad Cassleman.
