Funeral: 1:00 P.M. – Friday, April 27th at Vicco Baptist Church Interment: Slone Cemetery – Kodak, Kentucky Visitation: 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. – Thursday at the church Jimmy Ray Slone, age 59 of Vicco, Kentucky passed away peacefully at his residence early Wednesday morning. He was the son of Silas Sloan and Marcella Greene. He was a coal miner and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and 4-wheelers.

Jimmy Ray was preceded in death by his father Silas Sloan, one son Ronnie Sloan, his wife Mary Watts Slone. one brother Carl Junior Sloan, and sister Edith Mae Sloan. Survivors include daughters Heather Sizemore (Jerry) and Angela Slone (Jerry Cornett) of Hazard, Kentucky.

Four brothers Alder Sloan of Vicco, Archie Slone (Crystal) of Perry County, Albert Slone of Perry County, and James Sloan (Jamie) of Perry County. Six Sisters Betty Green, Mary Green, Gloria Sumner, Clara Bell Watson (Bill) all of Perry County, Kentucky and Shirley Maggard (Johnny) of Leslie County, Kentucky. Six grandchildren Hannah Sizemore, Jimmy D. Sizemore, Teresa Slone, Haley Sizemore, Emmual Sizemore, and Jace Sizemore.

And a very special friend.
