Jimmy’s Obituary Jimmy H. Sartin, 75, of Double Springs, entered into rest on February 3, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Jimmy was born on June 9, 1943, in Marion County, Alabama. He was a member of Living Faith Church for 8 years.

Jimmy also loved to travel to the Smokey Mountains in his spare time. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 12pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 2pm. Burial will follow in Henryfield Cemetery in Double Springs, Alabama.

Brother Frank Desiderio and Brother Bobby James will officiate. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marie Sartin; son, Anthony Sartin and his wife Tammy; daughters, April Dotson and her husband Jeff, Angela Sartin and her fiancé, Efren Ortega, Stacy Sartin and her fiancé William Foster, Cheryl Stone and her husband Rodney; brothers, Robert (Joyce) Sartin, Phil (Sherry) Sartin; sisters, Stella (Danny) Cook, Vicki Logan; father-in-law, Herbert Ingle; brother-in-law, Larry (Darlene) Ingle; sister-in-laws, Sue (Dave) Cole, Linda Shipman; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was known as “PawPaw” to 11 grandchildren, Austin Ingle, Emily (Tyler) Tidwell, Allison Ortega, Sophia Ortega, Matthew Hamm, Willo Foster, Tony Sartin, Eric (Hannah) Sartin, Haleigh (James) Riddle, Tyler (Brandy) Sartin, Sean Lewis and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Floy Sartin; brothers, Doris Sartin, Larry Sartin; sisters, Evelyn Robinson, Avalee Burleson, Linda Presley; and mother-in-law, Tressie Juanita Ingle.
