Jo Ann Auxier, 86, of Falls City, NE, passed away June 14, 2018 at Falls City. She was born April 6, 1932 at Salem, NE to Fred A. Corn and Goldie Grace (Jenkins) Corn. She married Harold K. Auxier on August 10, 1954 at Falls City.

Jo Ann was raised at Salem and graduated Salem High School in 1949. Following graduation she worked at Lichty – Tubach Insurance Company. When married the couple established their home in California while Harold served in the Marines.

They moved back to Falls City in 1955, and worked for Miller Monroe until she retired in 1994. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Falls City and curator of the Richardson County Historical Society. Jo Ann is survived by her husband, Harold of Falls City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lewis and Willis Corn; sisters Elnora Corn and Geraldine “Gerri” Allen. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at First Christian Church with Reverend Fay Ann Blaylock officiating. Interment will be in Verdon Cemetery, Verdon, NE.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
