Steven L. Schulenberg, 56, of Falls City, NE, passed away September 12, 2018 at Lincoln. He was born July 1, 1962 at Falls City to August and Carlene (Tisdel) Schulenberg. He married Mary Ann Ratashak on June 17, 1989 at Des Moines, IA.

They divorced in September of 1993. Steve was raised at Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1981. Following graduation he became employed by Falls City Meat Company.

He then purchased the Spirit Shop from Larry Whalen and operated it until 2002. He then worked various jobs, including at the prison in Tecumseh. He had worked at Falls City Foods most recently until he became ill in July.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Stacy Schulenberg of Falls City, sister, Valerie Schaible of Pawnee City, NE, granddaughters, Ava and Raegan. He was preceded in death by his parents. The body of Mr. Schulenberg has been cremated and services will be held at a later date.
