Ms. Jo Ann Hackle, 64, of Kite, GA. passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Hackle was born October 24, 1954 in Adrian to Laudice Pernell and Evie Dell Cooper Pernell.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Ronald Hackle, Sr.; brothers, J. L. Pernell, Arnold Pernell, Dale Pernell, Frank Pernell. Ms. Hackle was a homemaker. She enjoyed working in the yard with flowers, fishing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her mother, Evie Dell Cooper Pernell of Kite; sons, Ron Hackle of Kite, Steven (Tracy) Hackle of Meeks, Tim Hackle of Savannah, and Joey Hackle of Dublin; daughters, Dana (Grady) Braddy and Sarah Hackle both of Kite; brother, Gary Pernell of Kite; sisters, Willaine (Harrison) Rowland of Kite, Beverly (Glenn) Gay of Waynesboro, Paula (Mike) Roberts of Swainsboro; 15 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 with Rev. Burt Flanders officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 pm to 2 pm Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home. Pallbearers are grandsons; Chase Hackle, Landon Hackle, Matthew Hackle, Tyler Hackle, Brandon Hackle and Dakota Hackle.
