Jo Evelyn Robertson, 92, of Kensett, formerly of Corinth, Mississippi, passed away September 24, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born July 20, 1926 at Blytheville to the late George and Marene Disinger. Mrs. Robertson was a member of Kensett United Methodist Church and a graduate of Jonesboro High School.

Throughout the years, she served at a Sunday school teacher, a member of several bible study groups, and a Cub Scout Den Mother. Prior to moving to Kensett, she was a member of the Christ Methodist Church in Corinth where she also volunteered with the hospital auxiliary. She married Joe Robertson February 26, 1964 at Jonesboro, Arkansas; he survives.

She is also survived by three sons, Terry Nelms (Kristie) of Nashville, Jim Nelms (Judy) of Kensett, and George Robertson (Jackie) of Memphis; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Anna, Abbey, and Caroline Robertson, Stacey Nelms, Jason Rhodes, Stacy Osborn, Brian Rhodes; eight great grandchildren; and one sister, June Lacy (Carl) of North Little Rock. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at West Point Cemetery.
