Joan Brown Cook, 84, of Howland passed at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren Ohio. Joan was born July 5, 1934 in Tipp City, Ohio, the daughter of Howard D. and Dora F. Snyder Brown. She married Mont B. Cook on December 4, 1954.

Joan was a loving mother, she had a natural artistic talent, loved to oil paint, crochet, and embroider. Joan is survived by her six children, Linda K. Millard of Framingham, Massachusetts, June Olson of Howland, Ohio, Michael (Lisa) Cook, of Garrettsville, Ohio, Dora (Ben) Zandarski of Howland, Ohio, Pam (Steve White) Rowe of Niles, Ohio and Ben (Traci Underwood) Cook of Newton Falls, Ohio. She is also survived by a brother, George Samuel Brown of Tipp City, Ohio; her 11 grandchildren, Matthew (Rebecca) Olson, Tawnya (Chad) Smith, Amanda Cook, Jessica (Clarence), Michael Cook, Jr., Benjamin (Catherine) Zandarski II, Adam (Jamielee) Zandarski, Scott (Helen) Rowe, Brian (Tracy) Rowe, Christopher Cook and James Cook; her 15 great grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan, Brayden, Ava, Tierra, Trevor, Aurianna, Callie, Lorissa, Jordyn, Jeffrey, Jillianna, Lilly, Lucas and Adelyn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters and two brothers. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor B. Glen Rader officiating.
