Joan Elizabeth Baysinger 1949 – 2019 Joan Elizabeth Baysinger, 69, of Boonville MO passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. She was born on May 5, 1949 in Fayette to the late Lilburn and Anna Gallemore Hawkins. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Memorial Services starting at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1st at the Carr-Yager Funeral Home, 204 N. Linn Ave.

, Fayette, MO. Joan enjoyed and took pride in her work. She had retired from the Boonville Correctional Center and currently was a business office manager for the Fayette Caring Center.

During her free time she spent countless hours making quilts. She enjoyed dancing, country music, watching old western shows and tending to her many plants. She was a loving and devoted mother to son, David (Ashley) Baysinger of Boonville and daughter, Joyce Hilliard.

Joan was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed. Other surviving family includes her twin brother, John (Maggie) Hawkins of Florida; sisters, Bonnie Agnew of Fayette and Betty Strange of Florida.

Along with her parents, preceding her in death are sisters, Charlotte Gaither and Delores Hammond. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Central Missouri Honor Flight c/o Carr-Yager Funeral Home, P.O. Box 210, Fayette, MO 65248. Condolences may be shared at www.
