James Clifford Cretcher, 92, of Columbia, MO passed away Monday, January 7, 2019. Visitation will be Sunday, December 20, 2019 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Bethel Church with funeral services following at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.

Jim was born in Logan County, Ohio on September 13, 1926 to Clifford Nicholas and Mary Delia Hatcher Cretcher and they preceded him in death. In 1949 he married Joy Carpenter and she preceded him in death on October 27, 2014. The Cretcher family moved from Oregon to Missouri in 1975 when Jim became Executive Secretary of the American Hampshire Sheep Association.

He was a member of Bethel Church for several years. He is survived by two daughters: Cynthia Kaminiska (Bill) of Colorado Springs, CO and Pamela Lancaster (Randy) of Hallsville; four grandchildren: Corrinne Robinson, Tim Ballard, Nicole Huff and Aaron Palmer; four great grandchildren; two nephews; a brother, Richard Lee Cretcher of Ohio; two nieces and several grandnieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Marralene Clara Hyde.
