Thresa “Terri” Mullett 1962 – 2018 On Thursday, December 27, 2018 Thresa Sue Mullett, known by many as Terri, grandmother, mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away suddenly at her home at the age of 56. Terri was known and loved by many. She leaves behind her father, James Ray Bodenhamer; son, Michael Storm (Nicole) Mullett; grand-daughter Evelyn; sister, Cindy Louise (Bill) Ridgeway; sister, Elizabeth Irene Holt (Dave Payne); as well as nieces and nephews, extended family, her work family, and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nina; step-mother, Joyce; step-father, Roger and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Thresa was born April 7, 1962 in Moberly, Missouri, attended and graduated Boonville High School and lived and worked around Boonville most of her life. She spent the past 6 years working as a shift manager at Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores.

She worked hard for everything she had. She often referred to her co-workers as family and some referred to her as Momma Thresa. She loved playing with and photographing her fur babies, Shugar Caine, Rosie, LilSammi & Lola.

She enjoyed sharing stories of their antics and mischief, and it was obvious they were her passion and a real of joy for her. Many people knew and liked her as she had a kind heart, but she kept her circle small but close. She will be missed.

A funeral service in memory of Thresa (Terri) will be held at 2 PM, Friday, January 4, 2019 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home, 3855 Hwy. 5, New Franklin, MO 65274 with Dave Payne officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Clark’s Chapel Cemetery, New Franklin, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorial donations in memory of Thresa to Markland-Yager Funeral Home to assist the family with Theresa’s funeral expense or to Second Chance Animal Rescue columbia2ndchance.org.
