Joan M Lisowski, 88, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth. Born and raised in Plainfield, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Micheliana (Gonncha) Ceccarelli. Joan and her husband Stephen owned Grove Color Lab in Irvington for many years.

She was a sports fan, especially tennis and soccer. She also had a love of all music, especially opera. Joan also loved socializing with her friends and staff at Elmora Hills Healthcare and Rehab Center.

Joan was predeceased by her loving husband Stephen in 2010. She is survived by her nephew Robert Ceccarelli and his wife Doreen of Tunkhannok, PA. All services are under the direction of Sheenan Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at a later date.
