She was born August 19, 1935 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Edward Joseph Rose and Martha E. (Behr) Rose. She is survived by her son, Edward Wayne Harrison of La Porte, IN; daughter, Debra Allen of Newberry, FL; 5 – grandchildren; 4 – great-grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by both her parents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave. , La Porte, Indiana.
