Obituary for Joan Pisk Joan Christina Schilling Pisk passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Tender Nest Assisted Living Home in Billings, Montana at the age of 62. She was living in Billings due to multiple system atrophy. Services are pending and will be announced when completed.
Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements. She was born on October 18, 1955 in Miles City, Montana. She was the third daughter of Ervin and Pat Schilling, and her brother joined the family later.
She attended the Sackman school, Fallon school, and graduated high school from Terry in 1973. She attended dental school in Great Falls, Montana. She was the owner and operator of Yellowstone Cleaners for many years.
Then she worked at Action for Easter Montana and the VFW until her move to Billings. She is survived by her mother, Pat Schilling of Terry, Montana; daughter, Justine (Carl) and grandson Walker Laumeyer of Nashua, Montana; son, Fabian (Cari) and grandson Braeden Pisk of Billings; sisters, Jean (Kent) Brubaker of Missoula, Montana and Jane Schilling of Terry; brother, Jerome (Julie) Schilling of Shepherd, Montana; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her dad, Ervin Schilling, her late husband, Rickey Pisk, and her companion late Arnie Butler.
