Joan Ann Jones, 76 of Locust Grove, VA passed away on Nov. 18, 2018 at home. She was born on Nov.

4, 1942 in Bronx, NY a daughter of the late Joseph Lepre and Margaret Bella Saunders. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Bernard “Bernie” Jones. She and her husband were residents of Fairfax County, VA for over 40 years and were members of Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Moving to Fauquier County in 2004, they became members of Warrenton Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Steven B. Jones (Sue), Katherine A. Ellis (James) and Lisa M. Smith (Bobby); one sister, Carolyn Sayre; seven grandchildren, Kelly Marie Drummonds (Richard), Steven Michael Jones, Stephanie Blair Jones, Lacey Leigh Wilburn, Jacob Lee Denton, Joshua David Denton, Savana Marie Smith and Bobby Gene Smith; and one great grandchild, Elliot Shane Norton. The family will receive friends from on Wednesday, Nov.

28, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave. , Warrenton, VA 20186. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov.

29 at 10:00 AM at Warrenton Baptist Church, 123 Main Street, Warrenton, VA 20186. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Fairfax City Cemetery, 10567 Main Street, Fairfax, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
