Joanie “Farrell” Rushing, 67, of Quinlan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 28, 2018 in Kaufman. Memorial services celebrating Farrell’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Judge Hershey Barnett officiating. Farrell was born on October 20, 1950 in Hunt County, Texas.

She is the daughter of the late James A. Brown and Wanna Jumper Brown. She was raised in Quinlan and graduated from Ford High School in 1969. Farrell married Larry Rushing and they made their home in Quinlan until his passing.

She worked in manufacturing of Mead Products making school and office supplies for many years. She enjoyed baking, reading and helping those in need. She was a good wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family above all else.

She is loved and will be missed by her son Robby Stevens and Wife Juana of Crandall; grandchildren Abigail Hernandez, Robin Lynn Bicer, Elizabeth Marie Stevens and Gabriela Sarai Stevens; and many other friends and relatives.
