(91) of Edgewood passed away April 17, 2018. Born April 6, 1927 daughter of Charles and Myrtle (Thomas) Bowser. Preceded in death by her parents, husband of 56 years Elwood her daughter Sharon Johnston, son-in-law David Tarbay, brother Paul and sisters Daisy and Marjorie.

Survived by her children Susan and Charles both of Johnstown son in law John Johnston. Her grandchildren Doug and Bill Clark and Matthew Tilson and great-grandchildren Caroline, Ashley and Avery. Joann was a longtime member of Garfield St. United Methodist Church, she and her husband were the former co-owners of Canteen/ Nu-Way Vending.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Moskal-Reid funeral home and are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home, the Rev. Carol Hickman officiating, Committal Forest Lawn Cemetery. Email condolences may be sent at www.
