Obituary for JoAnn Kreinhagen Mrs. JoAnn Kreinhagen, 71 of Seymour passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at home with her children by her side. JoAnn was born in Brownstown, Indiana on October 16, 1946, the daughter of the late Clarence W. (Fred) and Hazel (Ross) Stilwell. On May 11, 1963 she married the late Stephen G. Manning, Sr. in Garden City, Columbus, Indiana.
They had three children, two of which survive and one proceded in death. On August 29, 1970, she married Glen A. Kreinhagen Jr.; he preceded her in death on September 26, 2003. JoAnn was a member of the Schneck Medical Center Guild.
She was an avid gardener and loved sharing her flowers. She was an active member of the American legion Post # 89, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Barbara J. Manning, Stephen G. (Doralee) Manning, Cathy A. Kreinhagen, Glen A. “Bock” (Debbie) Kreinhagen and Julie A. Phillips; daughter in law, Karen S. Kreinhagen; grandchildren, Kristina A. Tormoehlen, Kolt A. Kreinhagen, Keith M. (Rebecca) Kreinhagen, Howard L. (Marcy) Phillips III, Geri A. (Kirk) Geweniger, Laura A. Kreinhagen, Trevor A. (Abigail Wright) Kreinhagen, Joshua A. (Amy) Voss, Brent A. Kreinhagen, Tyler A. Kreinhagen, Stephen G. Manning III, Christopher Wade (Whitney Beverstock) Fox, Damon W. Sheaffer, Alissa S. (Tyler Hadley) George, Mark A Goddard, Amanda J. (Preston) Miller, Adale L. Robinson, Byron D. (Tricia) Robinson, Jr., Ronald J. (Kristin Sease) Machesky II, ;26 great grandchildren; sisters Wanda (Cliff) Simmen, Edna (Paul) Hill, Julia Hall, and Connie McIntosh; brother, Fred (Sandy) Stilwell and sister in law, Dorothy Stilwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother Earl Stilwell; sister Fern V. Stark and William A. “Tony” Kreinhagen; and infant son Robert D. Manning. Family and friends may gather at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 after 12 noon until time of service. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service, with Rev.
Tom Judd, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Memorials may be designated to the Seymour Fire Department or Hospice services at Schneck Medical Center, through the Voss & Sons Funeral Service and Cremation Center.
