Obituary for Joanne Katherine Bell (deValadares) Joanne Katherine (deValadares) Bell, 64, of Burnsville, WV passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV with husband and children by her side. She was born in Toronto Ontario, Canada on June 12, 1954. Proceeding her in death were brothers Terry and Norman deValadares.

She is survived by her parents, Jack and Carol deValadares, Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada; husband, Ronald Collinson Bell, Burnsville, WV; daughter, Katherine “Kat” Ramsey and husband Patrick, Burnsville, WV; son, Thomas Alexander Bell and wife Jessica, Salem, WV; brother, William “Bill” deValadares and wife Janine, Port Sydney, Ontario, Canada; grandchildren, Abigail Bell, Zach Davis, Emily Davis, Camden Harper and Andrew Bell. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Joanne was previously employed for many years by a Puff & Cockerill Law Firm in New Jersey as a receptionist.

Joanne loved the outdoors and participated in many activities such as fishing, camping, golf and tennis. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. at the Little Kanawha Independent Church, Burnsville, WV, 1259 Burnsville Road, Burnsville, WV 26335. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Minster Tim Ramsey Officiating.

Then per her wishes, Joanne’s body will be cremated. Expression of sympathy can be expressed to the family at stockert-paletti.com. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
