Jodi Dee Ashmore, 57, of Saugerties died peacefully Wednesday morning December 26, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born July 5, 1961 in Kingston; she is the daughter of the late Raymond and Dolores (Kimker) Ritter. Jodi worked as a Sales Supervisor for Verizon Communications in Albany.

She loved the outdoors, snowmobiling, boating, being at the beach and animals. Surviving is her husband of twenty seven years William Ashmore of Saugerties. Two children; Amanda M. Mercado and her husband Marlon of Saugerties, and William B. Ashmore and his wife Brianna of Boiceville.

One grandson Corbin Ashmore also survives. In addition to her parents; her brother Randy Ritter died previously. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Road Kingston, NY 12401, or instead of sending flowers, send dog treats to your local animal hospital or shelter in Jodi’s memory.
