Odem – Joe “JoJo” V. Belmarez, Jr. passed away May 5, 2018. He was 54. JoJo was born in Houston, Texas on October 27, 1963 to Angelita (Vela) and Joe Belmarez, Jr

He was a resident of Odem, Texas since 2010 and formerly Houston, Texas. JoJo is preceded in death by his father: Joe Belmarez, Sr.; and a sister: Emma Marie Belmarez. Survivors include his mother: Angie Belmarez of Odem, Texas; sisters: Julie Belmarez of Houston, Texas and AnnMarie Belmarez of Odem, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018, 3:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 11, 2018, 10:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Church in Odem with Father Isaias Estepa as celebrant.
