Joe was born October 30, 1949 in Lompoc, to Estanislao and Frances Delira. After serving in the United States Marine Corps he returned to Lompoc where he was employed as a truckdriver for Johns-Manville Mining for 31 years.

Joe is survived by his daughter Brandi Delira of Lompoc and his grandson Andrew. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Friday, January 11, 2019, at 9:30am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in the La Purisima Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
