Miguel Sosa-Arias January 03, 1946 – January 29, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences Miguel Sosa, devoted husband, loving father, dedicated grandfather and caring brother, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on January 29, 2019. Miguel was born on January 3, 1946, in Honduras, Central America, to Ana Maria Arias. Miguel was preceded in death by his mother Ana Maria Arias and is survived by his wife Francisca Sosa (Gonzales).

He is also survived by his children from his first marriage, sons Miguel Arturo Sosa, Carlos Fernando Garcia, Miguel Eduardo Sosa (Mike), David Humberto Sosa, daughters Yamileth Sosa Alba, Karla Regina Garcia, Gilda Amparo Cordova (Sosa) and Dominique Garcia (Sosa). Miguel is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, his brother Roberto Enrique Arias, Guillermo Zacapa, Herman Zacapa, Carlos Zuniga, his sisters Margarita Arias, Reina Zacapa, Norma Zacapa, Maribel Zacapa, Maria Lizeth Ruano (Zacapa), Maritza Zacapa, Samantha Zaragoza (Zuniga), and 36 nieces and nephews. Miguel loved his family fiercely and passionately.

He was a hard-working man who took pride in his children and grandchildren. He was a visionary man with a big heart and a voice of wisdom. To his family Miguel was and will always be regarded as a Hero and the “Eye of The Tiger” for his unwavering strength and relentless spirit that fought every circumstance in life and never gave up.

A public Celebration of Life service will be held in Miguel’s honor on Thursday, February 7, 2019, from 6pm to 8pm at La Iglesia De Dios De La Profecia (his local church), located at 231 North O Street, Lompoc, where his sisters Maria Lizeth Ruano and Maribel Zacapa will lead the beautiful service. Miguel will be laid to rest at the Lompoc Cemetery on Friday, February 8, 2019, in a private family ceremony.
