Nettie Goodwin June 02, 1937 – January 29, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences Nettie Jean Goodwin In celebration of the life of Nettie Jean Goodwin (Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren) born June 2, 1937, at home in the “Holler” in a small town in Pennsylvania and moved on to her new home on January 30, 2019. Nettie spent her years growing up in North Tonawanda in Upstate New York, and in her later years lived in Duluth, Minnesota and Illinois, finally settling the last 40 years in Lompoc, California. She has two children by her first marriage, Clinton Lehman of Lompoc, CA, and Wendy Lehman of Show Low, AZ, as well as two step-children, Ricky and Sharon of Niagara Falls, NY.

Nettie is blessed with a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Tammy Clark, Romni Lehman-Moreno, Casey Lehman, Justin Gourley, Jonathan Gourley, and Jordan Gourley. Her great-grandchildren include Aubri Lehman of Arizona, Jadyn, Tyler, and Jacob Clark of Lompoc, CA, and Shay Lehman-Moreno and Mea Moreno also of Lompoc, CA.

Nettie also has many close friends she loved sharing time with: “Andy and Ellie” Anderson of Lompoc, CA, Bob Tausig of Lompoc, CA, and his daughters Sylvia and Gloria, and Dusty and Marsha of Washington. She was preceded in her homecoming by her husband Richard Goodwin, her parents Emmett and Rosemary Neal, and her brother Robert Neal. Nettie is survived by her twin sister Betty Considine who resides in Arizona along with her nieces Nancy and Debbie and nephew Patrick.

One of the greatest joys of her life were her animals whom she dearly loved whether it be horses, cats, or dogs. They have been her companions throughout her life. Nettie always enjoyed spending the holidays, especially Christmas, with her family and friends.

We will greatly miss her spirit and presence.
