Obituary for Joel M. Mazel Joel M. Mazel, age 54, passed away on July 1st, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, William Mazel. He is survived by his mother, Irene Mazel, his brothers, Mark (Hindi) Mazel and David (Jodi) Mazel; His wife, Alyson Leeman; daughter, Gila Mazel; step-children, Mitch and Caroline McGuire; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends including Terri, Jason, and Jared Levine.

Joel was an inspiration to many people, sharing his humor and wisdom with everyone he met. His generous nature and kindness provided a bright example for his community. Burial will take place Tuesday in Jerusalem.

The remaining Shiva will be observed at the Leeman/Leibesman home on Sunday from 8:30-11 AM, 1-4 PM, and 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Congregation Beth Jacob, 1223 College Ave. , 43209 or The Torah Center, 2942 E. Broad St., 43209.
