Obituary for John Wesley Williams John Wesley Williams, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. John was born on December 19, 1955 in Massillon, Ohio to James and Emma Williams. John was a talented man.

He worked as a Professional Chef at 22 West in New York. John was an accomplished self-taught musician. His joy came from playing the guitar.

John was also a master at playing Chess and loved Sci Fi movies. Preceded in death by his son, John Wesley Jr.; father, James Williams and brother, Arden Craig. Survived by his wife, Sharon Williams; mother, Emma Williams; sons, Michael Simpson-Williams, Myron and Marcus Williams; 7 grandchildren; siblings Jackie Moore, Geraldine Williams, Vicki Williams and Terrance (Barbara) Williams; sisters-in-law; Cynthia Hayward, Linda Hickman (Luke), Marine Gee and Theresa (Kenny) Farmer; a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the HEART and HOPE FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio followed by funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment 11:00 am, Friday, July 6, 2018 at Massillon Cemetery, Massillon, OH. Memorial contributions can be made to National Kidney Foundation.
