Obituary for John A Sorensen (Camdenton) John Arthur Sorensen, son of Roger James Sorensen and Helen Snead Sorensen Sinner, was born, July 26, 1964 in Lexington, Nebraska. He departed this life, on October 6, 2018, in Camdenton, Missouri at the age of fifty-four years, two months and ten days. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger; his grandfather, John P. Snead and two brothers, Scott Sinner and Steven Sorensen.

Survivors include his children, Tyler Sorensen and future daughter-in-law, Sierra Jay, Jeremie Sorensen and wife Alyssa all of Springfield, Missouri and Harley Anne Bickish and husband Jimmy of Idaho; two grandsons, James and Oliver; his mother, Helen Sinner and husband Jim Renfroe of Hernado Beach, Florida; his siblings, Eric Sinner and Amy Vonderschmidt and husband Steve all of Linn Creek, Missouri and his previous wife and the mother of his two sons, Kathy Kurt and husband Jim of Linn Creek, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. John was born in Nebraska and raised in Colorado until in the early 1970’s when his family moved to Camdenton. He attended and graduated from Camdenton R-3 School in the class of 1982.

After he married his high school sweetheart, Kathy, they moved to Idaho where they raised racing Greyhounds and he worked for Horizon Airlines. He had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed riding. John has blessed all of his family and friends with many memories that they will always treasure.

He was a loving dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We will celebrate his life on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1-3 p.m., at Marty’s Bar in Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home and mailed to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020 or left at the funeral home.
