He is preceded in death by grandparents Vera Mae Wright of Rotan, Texas, Alfred William Thomas of Rotan, Texas, Mary Bingham of Modesto, California, Thomas Eli Bingham of Modesto, California, John Alvin Wade in Spur, Texas; his brother Eddie Gayle Thomas, Jr.; his daughter Marlana Dawn Thomas. He is survived by his father Eddie Gayle Thomas, Sr. of Commerce, Texas; his mother Alma Kathryn Thomas of Abilene, Texas; his sons Christopher Dean Thomas and wife Samantha and kids Wyatt Odin, Payton Autumn and Brooke Kathryn Thomas of Mobile Alabama; his daughters Felisha Kathlene DuPaul and husband Jeremy David and kids Holley Jean and Max David DuPal of Comanche, Texas; Casey Jean Thomas and son Amani Jean Santos of Temple, Texas; his brother Joe Bill Thomas and wife Jo Ann of Valrico, Florida; his sisters Lisa Carmalettia Morphis and husband Mikel of Needville, Texas; Cynthia L. Parish and husband Dale M. of Orange County, Texas; as well as other loving family members and friends.
