John Allen Faust, 68 of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord November 16, 2018 at Genesis Hospital. He was born January 25, 1950 in Zanesville, son of the late, Charles Faust Sr. and Rosemary Shumate Faust. He liked to hunt, fish, was avid Ohio State Football fan.

He also enjoyed soaking up the sun with his dog Brutus. John worked for Burnham Foundry for over thirty-years. He dedicated his life caring for his loved ones.

He had a passion for working on cars and turning wrenches, he was known as Big John by many. He is survived by his special niece that he raised as his daughter, April (Nick) Koenig; brothers, Jerry (Pat) Faust, Jack (Janet) Faust; sisters, Flora Mae Swingle, Bertie (Don) Doolittle, Kaye LePage; many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; one grandson on the way Gabriel Allen Koenig. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Charles “Sonny” Faust; sister, Elizabeth Swope.

Calling hours will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday November 19, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 PM with Aaron Wahl officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date. To sign the online guestbook please visit www.
