Obituary for John Baron BARON, John R. – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a great man, loving father and devoted husband. John R. Baron or “Pop Pop” passed on this past Father’s Day, June 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He is greatly missed by his wife of 43 years, Kim Baron and his five children John (and Christina), Nathaniel (and Leslie), Krista (and Mark), Jeremy (and Renee) and Bernadette (and Jeff).

He is also survived by his eight grandchildren Jonathan, Evan, Noelle, Markie, Nathaniel, Luke, Brooke and Krista. Pop Pop devoted his life to his family and faith. He left his mark on this world by his continuous practice of kindness and compassion.

John never missed an opportunity to laugh and was a beacon of light to those whose lives he touched. He is greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (June 23rd) at 10am in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 525 Washington St., Cape May where there will be a viewing from 8:30am until 9:50am.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cape May Court House. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being accepted for end of life expenses through “In Memory Of,” conveniently online at www. inmemoryof-memorial.org/john-baron or if regular mail is preferred: “In Memory Of,” PO Box 5472, Charlottesville, VA 22905.
