Obituary for Mabel Jackson JACKSON (nee Beaumont), Mabel M. – 90, of Town Bank, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018. Born in Upper Darby, PA, Mabel raised her family in Folsom, PA prior to moving to Town Bank in 1976. She worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad as a secretary and later worked for State Farm Insurance Company (Auto Claims Dept.

) in Springfield, PA. She was a member of the Swarthmore United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Mabel was the organist and longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Cape May Chapter.

She enjoyed many things in her life, specifically music, cooking, travelling, needlework, time on the beach, tending her house plants especially her African Violets and watching the Cape May Ferry come and go at Douglass Park with her beloved husband. Most of all she enjoyed spending precious time with her family. She is predeceased by her husband, Everett Jackson (2005) and her brother, William Beaumont.

Mabel is dearly missed by her loving family which includes her two daughters, Joanne Dreher (Roger) and Barbara Jackson (Anthony Walsh); two granddaughters, Kelly and Kara Dreher, as well as her nieces and nephews. Mabel’s funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, June 29, at 11am in the Spilker Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May where there will be a viewing from 10am until 11am. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery, Lower Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
