Cheraw, SC Mr. John “Blake” Rivers, age 48, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, July 27, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC. Mr. Rivers was born January 3, 1970, in Florence, SC, a son of John L. “Johnny” Rivers, III and the late Francine Campbell Rivers.

He was an employee of Auto Zone and enjoyed taking pictures and had a special place in his heart for animals. A man with a great personality, Blake will be remembered for his ability to make anyone laugh. Survivors include his father, Johnny Rivers of Cheraw, SC; brothers, John Lewis Rivers, IV of Scottsdale, AZ, and John Randall (Elaine) Greene of Lake Norman, NC; sister, Wendy Rivers (Scott) Johnson of Cheraw, SC; grandmother, Lila Campbell of Columbia, SC; nieces and nephews, Holden Floyd, Bailey Floyd, and Ciera Grant; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriner’s Childrens Hospital, 950 W. Faris Rd. , Greenville, SC 29605. Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (www.
