Bob was born in Roswell, New Mexico on October 16, 1943 to Joseph and Lorraine (Robertson) Juliana.
Growing up in Carlsbad, New Mexico he loved hunting and fishing and could almost always be found getting in to some sort of trouble. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1961 and joined the Navy in 1962 as a Communications Technician. During his twenty years in the Navy, he traveled the world, shot competitively for the Navy, served two tours in Vietnam, started his family and so much more.
Bob was a great shot and passed down his passion for guns and shooting to his children. He taught many of them to shoot and hunt at a very young age, creating some of the fondest memories his children have of him to this day. His service and honor to his country was an example for many and a path that seven of his children proudly followed.
Bob’s love for his children and the Lord was known above all else. He was a staple in the community at Saint Luke Catholic Church and could always be found in the same pew every morning. Everyone knew his distinct deep voice and many knew him as the thunderous voice of God in the church plays year after year.
His devotion to the Lord and his children is the legacy he proudly leaves behind. His presence, love, lasting impact, and dry sense of humor will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A celebration of his life and union with the Lord is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Saint Luke Catholic Church, 1606 Blanding Blvd, Middleburg, FL 32068.
Mass and Military Honors will be held in remembrance of him. Flowers, condolences, and care packages can be sent to Saint Luke Catholic Church on February 16, 2019. “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever”.
