Obituary for John Christopher Romeo John Christopher Romeo, 23 of Sykesville, MD Passed Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born July 31, 1994 in Baltimore, MD the son of Richard and Loel Romeo of Sykesville. John was a 2012 graduate of Century High School.

He loved music and always hoped for a career in the music industry. He enjoyed skateboarding and spending time with friends. He earned his blackbelt in Taijutsu in 2008.

John played football for 2 years with the Sykesville Raiders and won the Ed Block Courage Award in 2005. Surviving in addition to his parents are brother and future sister-in-law Stephen Romeo and Erika Benson , sister and significant other Lindsey Romeo and Trevor Sellers, his maternal grandparents John and Muriel Benisch, paternal grandmother Lucille Romeo. He was also loved much by his numerous aunts and uncles Chris and Yvette Romeo, Susan and Don Schulze, Diane Benisch and Couper Duerr, John Benisch and Kevin Adams.

He is joining his paternal grandfather, James Romeo, who passed away in 2016. There will be a Gathering of Friends on Thursday, April 19, 2018 5PM to 6:30 PM when a Celebration of John’s Life will take place 6:30 PM all at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784(beside S. Carroll High).
