Charles Franklin Young, 65, of Columbia, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Catonsville. Born November 29, 1952 in Olney, Maryland, he was the son of the late Raymond Young, Sr. and Mary Helen Dutton Young. Charles had worked in maintenance and landscaping.

He is survived by daughters Taryn Young and Tiffany Young-Townsend, son Justin Young, sisters Charlene Blunt and Sheila Allen, brothers Anthony and Raymond Young, Jr., and grandchildren Unique Johnson, Treshaun and Malik Davis, and Donovan, Rowan and Fallen Townsend and Tiffany Young-Townsend. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 11:00 AM at the St. John Baptist Church, 9055 Tamar Drive, Columbia, MD 21045. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
