Obituary for Mary Crawford (Gawel) Mary Helen Crawford (nee Gawel) 85, of Centreville formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away on Sunday July 8, 2018. She was born January 24, 1933 in Maryland the daughter to the late Emil J. Gawel and the late Mary S. Gawel (Nee Stefanides). The beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Crawford.

She was a Eucharistic minister and a member of the Catholic Daughters. She loved cooking and baking for her family & friends. Devoted mother of Michael J. Crawford, Sr. and wife Robin of Hanover, PA and MaryAnn and husband Bill King of Centreville.

Loving grandmother to Michelle King-Best, Eric King, Michael Crawford, Jr., Pamela Crawford and David Crawford. Devoted great-grandmother to Austin, Kaleb, Julian, Lachlan, Will, Blake, and Liam. Also survived by sister-in-law Patricia Bunke and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday July 15, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM with a wake service at 3:30 PM, at the BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Mass will be held on Monday July 16, 2018 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church 9531 Liberty Rd, Randallstown, MD 21133.
