Obituary for George Lucas Jr. George P. Lucas, Jr. 92 of Sykesville, MD Passed June 20, 2018 at the Dove House in Westminster. He was the Beloved husband of M. June (Shreve) Lucas. Mr. Lucas was born April 13, 1926 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late George P. and late Emma Lucas, Sr. George was a US Army WWII Veteran, he worked for the MD State Highway Admin.

as a Traffic Engineer and later sold real estate for Long and Foster. He loved to garden and be with family. He enjoyed trips to the Ocean and a good cup of coffee.

Mr. Lucas was a devote member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Community and a member of the Reisterstown Moose. Devoted father of Kenneth and wife Allison Lucas, Duane Lucas, Diane and husband Phil D’Adamo. Dear brother of Matt, Lucas, Pauline Keane, Jeannie Harper and the late Jimmy and late John Lucas.

Loving grandfather of Amber Ritenour, April Donahue. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 24, 2018 3 to 6 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784(beside S. Carroll High).

A Funeral Liturgy will be said on Monday, June 25, 2018 11 AM at St. Joseph’s Community, 915 Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave.
